Its A Spectable, Not Just A Concert

I get why people have their mixed opinions on the setlist, choreography and lipsyncing. I don't like the fact that she has a mic but its not even on, but what can we do about it?

All I know is that this tour isn't to entertain us with her vocals or with her good dance steps. This tour is way different than the Onyx Hotel tour, or any other tours. Even though her live vocals weren't around that much in the previous tours either, atleast she was just dancing along with all the other dancers.

But this tour is all about putting on a show. Its a spectacle. And Britney is the ringleader. All eyes on her, wether she dances or tells dancers to dance. (And to do sit-ups). It's almost a musical, with every song having a little story.

tbh, I think that how it went down is like this: they sat down together, tried fo find good concepts and then thought: what songs could go with it? Only 'Circus', the song, had an obvious choice of costumes and storyline: she's the ringleader in a ringleader costume introducing the fans to the circus.

All the other songs we're probably chosen because they fit the theme, the concept. Not the other way around.

well, idk, but I feel like if the tour is called "The Circus: starring Britney Spears", it kind of says it all. You know you can't expect her to do a live show.
