I read a lot of stuff today about Britney. Like I do everyday. But the most important article I read today and posted on www.britneyfm.com (go, go go now!) was the article written by OK! magazine, in their new issue of this week. I'm not going to post the full article because its a load of crap talking about her previous OK! interview but what I am going to post is the important information out of the article.
"Her next album, which OK! can exclusively reveal will be released by late December, has to be a monster hit to sustain her comeback, and all signs indicate that it will deliver."
Isn't that GREAT?! I think its great. Wether I can believe it or not, I don't know. Can I? I think I can, and I think I should, so should you. Its sad to say that I believe OK! magazine and their story. What has the world turned into? But these days OK! magazine is reliable. Since Britney let the photographers and interviews of OK! in her house a month ago, I think they do know the inside and outside of whats going in the Spears family. Besides, Jamie Lynn gave OK! her exclusive first baby pictures and in OK! she did also reveal she was pregnant (at the time) so they're pretty much a welcome guest at the Spears house. So its safe to say I believe OK! magazine when they say its going to be released in late December.
And my gutts says they are right too. Because I always had the feeling that Britney releases an album to enjoy the tracks mixed up with the Christmas feeling. I remember that the album 'Britney' came out around November. Can't recall what date it exactly was because its almost 7 years ago and that would have made me about 9 years old so I'm googling "Britney - The album" and go with the first and best result: wikipedia. AHA! November 5.
I coudn't help myself and went to Britney's actual wikipedia page and guess what? They already added her awards at the VMA's this year. Great.
Anyway, then I went out to check if In The Zone was released in November/December too. Wiki told me that it was released globally at Nov 17, in the US it was released Nov 18. Ha Ha, USA, you suck. Sorry. When I wikipedia'd GH:MP (for the non-obsessed fans GH:MP stands for her 'Greatets Hits: My Prerogative') and I found out it was released Nov 01 in Japan. Woot! Those bastards got to get to hear the album first! Because globally it was released 7 days later. As in Nov 8 2004.
B In The Mix: The Remixes (wich was an official album without promotion) was released the November 22 2005. Blackout was released, and this I do know without having to look at Wikipedia, October 31 2007. But all due the many leaks on the internet because the album actually wasn't coming out late November.
I think its great because that means everytime a new Britney cd comes out I can practically buy it for free or get it as a gift since my birthday is November 30th. And DAMN, I knew I forgot a coincidence yesterday. I'm born Nov 30 so that means two days after my bday candles we're blown out, Britney blows out hers. Great, great.
I seem to say the word "Great" a lot today. Who cares, its all great.
Either way, I had to share this conclusion that you could buy all her albums since the release of 'Britney' (wich ARE 5 albums ya'll) for my birthday, Christmas or New Year! I'm one lucky bitch, just know that. Because all of them are released in late October or November. Wich isn't exaclty December but its better than May, right?
Love,
Emily
ps: my first actual BLOG. whatcha think? I think I should have talked about the other articles I've read today too. Oh well. See ya tomorrow!
