So, I have my concerns about the lack of promotion. But not only about the lack of promotion but also because of the fact that Britney's not coming out of her freakin' house anymore.
I've searched in several galleries, including GoBritney and BritneyRes (didn't search in POM and U-Britney because they both have server problems) and I found out that in BritneyRes, the only album in the 2009 candid category was an album of Kevin & Victoria Price. How is it that Britney's ex-husband (since 2007) is still photographed, and worse: Is the only candid album in the gallery?
In Go Britney I found 3 to 4 albums. 1 of them was with pictures posted on BS.com, 2 other albums was Britney going to rehearsal and the last album was Britney going to starbucks.
How is it that Britney doesn't get out of her house except for rehearsals and starbucks?
Of course, you can look at it on a positive way too: Maybe the paparazzi have left her alone? Then again, a little publicity coudn't hurt either. Because promotion isn't coming from her side. She hasn't done any interviews and performances at ALL. How is it that, since her second single "Circus" got released, we haven't heard anything of her anymore? How can you bring out a single and album without promotion? Obviously, we all know she did that with Blackout too, but then she was in the freakin tabloids every week. She, atleast, had publicity. Good or bad, but it seemed work.
Now: she's just dying on us. Fading out. How is it that it's impossible for her to do promotion when she has the money and time to do it? We all know severel things have changed since her last tour, certainly the fact that she has children now. And don't leave out the conservatorship.
But for everything theres a solution. She has a god assistant -according to sources, two good assistants-, she has a nanny and several bodyguards. She has an amazing team surrounding her personally and profesionally. She's Britney Spears, she should be able to make things happen. Why is it that she doesn't make things happen?
What are the things that stand in her way?
